Detailed itinerary of 10 days Uganda safari
Day 1: arrival and pickup
On the 1st day of 10 days Uganda safari you will be picked from the airport upon your arrival by our company’s representative and head to Kampala, depending on the time of your arrival you will have a city tour visiting sites like Kasubi tombs, Ghaddafi mosque, Rubaga cathedral and Owino market. In the evening you will head back to your hotel, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale national park
On the 2nd day of your safari you will have early morning breakfast at your hotel in Kampala then be picked up by your safari and embark on your journey to kibale forest national park a famous habitat for primates with a biggest population of chimpanzee in Uganda. On your way you will have a lunch stopover in fort portal town then proceed to the park while enjoying magnificent views of mountain Rwenzori peaks, local homestead and many more. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking
On the 3rd day of 10 days Uganda safari you will have early morning breakfast at your lodge, meet your safari driver and head to kibale national park for an encounter with chimpanzee in their natural habitat on a chimpanzee tracking experience. You will undergo briefing in which chimpanzee trekking rules and regulations will be read to you before you head into the forests of kibale. Then you will hike I to the forests in search for chimpanzees and we find them you are allowed to stay for only 1 hour in their presence while observing their ways and taking pictures. After the experience you will head back to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, you will visit Bigodi swamp for a nature walk on which you will spot many animals such as olive baboons, white and black colobus monkeys and many birds such as shoe bills and many more. In the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
On the 4th day of the safari you will have morning breakfast at your lodge, check out and head to kibale national park with a stopover at the crater lakes for spectacular views and sights of mountain Rwenzori the mountains of the moon. You will proceed to Queen Elizabeth national park and upon your arrival you will have lunch after checking into your lodge and in the afternoon, you will go for a village walk around the communities neighboring the park for cultural encounter. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 5: Game drive and Boat Safari
On the 5th day of the safari you will have early morning breakfast and head to queen Elizabeth national for sights if animals on a game drive, morning game drives the best time for spotting animals such as tree climbing lions as they hunt for their prey and early risers such as leopards, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes amidst savannah grasslands from the open widows of your safari vehicle.
Then you will head back to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, you will return for a boat cruise on kazinga channel, kazinga channel is a natural water channel connecting lake Edward to lake George and while the boat cruise you will see many animals such as crocodiles, buffaloes. Elephant, hippos on the banks and water of the channel and many birds such as herons, shoe bill, cattle egret and many more. Then head back to your lodge and in the evening, you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 6: lion tracking in Ishasha sector of queen Elizabeth national park
On the 6th day of 19 days Uganda safari you will have breakfast at your lodge, then head to the Ishasha southern sector if the park to lion tracking experience. On this experience lions are tracked using a tracking device in their necks and they are usually found lying on the tree tops since they are tree climbing lions. While in the Ishasha sector you will also spot many birds and other animals such as antelopes. You will head back to your lodge and have an afternoon of rest, in the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 7: transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
After early morning breakfast at your lodge you will checkout and set off on a drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park through the Ishasha sector where you will enjoy sights of tree climbing lions. Bwindi impenetrable national park is a UNESCO world Heritage site habiting the world’s half population of mountain gorillas which is the biggest number of mountain gorillas to be found in one location. When you arrive in the park you will have lunch after checking into your lodge, you will spend the rest of the day resting at your lodge and in the evening, you will have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 8: mountain gorilla trekking
On the 8thday of 10 days Uganda safari you will have early morning breakfast and head to Bwindi impenetrable national park for an encounter with mountain gorillas on mountain gorilla trekking safari with your packed lunch. You will start the experience with briefing at the park’s headquarters in which a ranger will guide on the rightful way to conduct yourself while in presence on mountain gorillas, be allocated a gorilla group to trek and head into the forests looking for them. Trekking for mountain gorillas takes about 3-5 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas and your allocated 1 hour of observing them in their natural habitats and take amazing memorable pictures. After the trekking you will head back to your lodge and in the evening, you will have dinner and stat overnight at your lodge.

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park
On the 9th day of the safari you will have early morning breakfast at your lodge, meet your safari and set off on your journey to lake Mburo national park. On your way you will enjoy sights of the winding roads of the kigezi green hills and you will have stopover for pictures, when you arrive in the park you will check into your lodge, have lunch and in the afternoon you will head for a boat ride on the calm lake Mburo. On the boat ride you will enjoy sights of the hilly landscape dotted with many small lakes and many animals such as zebras, leopards, lions, giraffes a d many water birds such as herons, shoebill on the shores of the lake. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 10: transfer back to Kampala
On the 10th day of 10 days Uganda safari you will have early morning breakfast then be picked up your safari guide, with en-route game drive you will exit the park and embark on your journey back to Uganda with a stopover at the equator for pictures. At the equator you will have lunch and buy souvenirs, when you arrive in Kampala you will be dropped off at your hotel or at Entebbe international airport to catch your flight back home.
