Day 1: Kampala to Jinja

After a briefing, we will embark on our 15 day Uganda Safari. This Uganda safari will start in Kampala with an early departure. We will stop at Mabira forest for zip lining. We shall zip line over the Mabira forest canopy. After the zip lining, we will head out to Jinja where we shall do a horse back safari on the banks of the Nile. We will retire for a relaxing evening.

Day 2: White water rafting on the Nile.

We shall enjoy a lazy breakfast in preparation for an adrenaline filled water rafting experience. The rafting company will pick us from the lodge, take us for a full day of a very unique rafting experience. We will be guided by trained professionals who will be with us on the rafts. After the rafting, we will be brought back to the lodge and have a relaxing evening.

Day 3: Jinja to Sipi Falls

We will begin our second day of the Uganda safari with a visit to the source of the Nile. We shall take a boat cruise to the exact moment the River Nile leaves Lake Victoria. Knowledgeable guides will give us all the history about the source of the Nile. There are opportunities of bird watching. King fishers, Herons, African fish eagles can be seen at this spot. We shall then continue to Sipi falls in the eastern part of the country. We will make a stopover in Mbale town for lunch and enjoy the scenic beauty of Mt Elgon. We shall arrive at Sipi Falls in the evening where we will feast on the beauty of the falls. We shall check in into the lodges as we prepare for the adventures for the next day.

Day 4: Sipi Falls

On this day of your Uganda safari, we will go abseiling from the top of the Sipi falls(100metres) and the scene is absolutely amazing. We will be guided by trained professionals. After the abseiling, we will embark on the hiking which will take us into the caves that were dwelling places of the indigenous people. We shall then return to the lodge for the night.

Day 5: Sipi Falls To Kidepo National Park

On day 5 of this 15 day Uganda Safari, we shall have an early start for Kidepo valley national Park. We will encounter the local people and get to experience their daily lives. The Karamoja Plains are a beauty and we will make various stops for photography if needed, we shall check into our lodge on reaching Kidepo and have a relaxing evening

Day 6: Kidepo valley Game drive and cultural Experience

We will depart from the lodge for an early game drive where we shall encounter some of the best Wildlife in Uganda. The lions, giraffes, elephants, zebras, water bucks, cheetahs, warthogs, Jackson’s hartebeest are some of the wildlife we will get to see on this game drive. There are a lot of bird species in Kidepo valley and we shall be able to view them on this game drive. This game drive will last up to 5 hours and we will return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, we shall head up to the Karamajong hills for a cultural visit. Here, the local people will invite us into their homes so that we can experience their daily lives. We shall enjoy their cultural experiences including the memorable dances. We shall return to the lodge for diner.

Day 7: Kidepo Game Drives

We will depart for another game drive but this time in a different part of the national park. We shall be able to see the hot springs, run alongside the ostriches, cheetahs, view the famous secretary bird, elephants, herds of buffaloes and so much more. We will return to the lodge for a relaxing afternoon and evening of our 15 day Uganda Safari

Day 8: Kidepo to Murchison Falls

We will have an early breakfast as we leave Kidepo national park for Murchison falls. Along the way, we shall stop at Aru falls to take in the beauty and a swim. We shall then proceed to Murchison falls national park, check in to our lodge and relax for the evening.

Day 9: Murchison Falls

We shall begin this part of our safari with an early game drive. This game is short and fun filled. All the wildlife can be found in close proximity with one another.  Lions, Giraffes, Leopards, Hyenas, cobs, Oribi, Hippos, elephants, Buffaloes are some of the wildlife that can be seen on this game drive. A trained tour guide will be available for any questions. A lot of birds are also visible on this game drive. They include, shoe bill, crested cranes, ground horn bill, Egyptian geese, king fisher, guinea fowl, egret and so much more. We will then return to the lodge for lunch as we prepare for the boat cruise on the Nile. This boat cruise will take you straight to the bottom of Murchison Falls. This is where the River Nile is forced through a 7 meter gap only to fall 40 meters below. On this boat cruise, you will be able to see more wildlife like elephants, hippos buffaloes and crocodiles. You will have the opportunity to hike to the top of the falls. The gorilla trekking in uganda guide will pick you from the top of the falls and back to the lodge

Day 10:  Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park

We will have an early breakfast and then head out to Kibale national park. We shall drive through the swampy lands with beautiful view of Lake Albert. The scenery is extraordinary. We shall check into our lodge in Kibale and relax for the evening.

Day 11: Chimpanzee trekking

This tracking is among the most fascinating experiences you will encounter on a Uganda safari. We will get to visit the chimpanzees in their natural habitats. We will be briefed by the guides so there’s no danger from these primates. We will be guided into the natural habitats and we will get to see the lives of these primates. Apart from the Chimpanzees, we will get to see the red tailed monkeys and the colobus monkeys. The tracking will last 2-3 hours and we will then return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, we will head out to the crater lakes of fort portal. These are a sight to behold. The scenery is awesome. We will get to have a picnic at these lakes and take some pictures. We will return to the lodge for the evening.

Day 12: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park

We shall depart Kibale national Park for Queen Elizabeth national Park. We shall stop at the Equator in Kasese for photographs on the way to Queen Elizabeth. On reaching Queen Elizabeth, we shall go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. We shall encounter a lot of birds, hippos, elephants and much more. We will head to the lodge for a relaxing evening.

Day 13: Queen Elizabeth National Park To Bwindi National Park

After breakfast, we will have an early start for Bwindi national park. We shall be able to see the famous tree climbing lions in Ishaha on the way to Bwindi. We shall get to experience the beautiful landscape of the western Uganda. On reaching the lodge, we will check into the lodge and have a relaxing evening in preparation for the Gorilla trekking the following  day

Day 14: Gorilla Trekking

After breakfast, we will head to the park headquarters for briefing, registration and joining other trekkers. Then off we go. We will trek through the undergrowth of the forest with well-trained guides to find the gorillas. We will be able to spot various primates, birds and rare tree species before we find the Gorillas. Once we find the gorillas, we will be allowed an hour with them before heading back to the park headquarters. This experience is extraordinary. We will be awarded certificates for participating in gorilla trekking and contributing to their conservation. We shall then return to the lodge for a relaxing evening.

Day 15: Bwindi National Park to Kampala

On the last day of your 15 day Uganda Safari, we shall have an early breakfast and head back to Kampala. We will drive through the beautiful hills of Kabale, to the slopes of western Uganda. We shall have a stop at Igongo cultural center in Mbarara for lunch and will be able to learn more about the Ankole kingdom. We shall make another stop on the Equator for pictures. On arrival in Kampala, the guide will drop you at your hotel or the airport in time for your flight. This will mark the end of your 15 day Uganda Safari
