2 Day Lake Mburo Uganda Safari Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Departure for Lake Mburo, Boat cruise and game drive
On the first day of this Uganda safari, we will have an early start. We will depart Kampala and head towards Lake Mburo national park. Driving through Masaka, we will make a stop at the equator for breakfast. This will allows us some photos and the hemispheric experiments. We will continue and check into our lodge in Lake Mburo. The drive time is 4 hours.
On arrival, we will check into the lodge and relax. Later in the afternoon, we will head out for an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo. On this cruise, we hope to see hippos, crocodiles, buffalo and plenty of bird species like African fish eagle, King fisher and many more.
There after, we will contialknue to do an evening game drive on our way back to the lodge. On this drive, we hope to see buffaloes, giraffes, water bucks, impala, zebra, leopards, warthogs, and many more animals. We will then return to the lodge and relax. We will enjoy the camp fire and enjoy the starry night of this Uganda Safaris
Day 2: Nature Walk and return To Kampala.
After an early breakfast, we will venture out into the park for a nature. This nature walk allows us to get even closer to the wildlife. With an armed ranger, we will walk through some of the tracks in the park. These tracks are used by animals as they go for a sip of water from the lake. We will be as close as possible to these amazing wildlife on this Uganda Safari.
After the walk, we will check out of the lodge and head back to Kampala. This will mark the end of our Uganda Safari
