3 Days Queen Elizabeth Uganda Safari Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth
Our guide will pick you from your hotel in Kampala and after a short briefing, you will depart for Queen Elizabeth national park. We will make a stopover at the equator for some pictures and breakfast. We will be able to do some experiments that show the different hemispheres. We will have a lunch break in Mbarara before proceeding to Queen Elizabeth. On arrival, we will check into our lodge and relax for the evening of your Uganda safari.
Day 2: Game drive and Boat cruise.
After an early breakfast, we will venture into the park for a morning game drive. This game drive is done in a customized safari vehicle allowing you to have amazing views of the wildlife. This drive will take place on the Kasenyi plains and we hope to see wildlife like lions, elephants, leopards, hyenas, buffalo, hippos, antelopes and plenty of birds. We will get to learn about how salt is mined in one of the crater lakes. This drive will last up to 4 hours. We will return to the lodge for an early lunch in preparation for the afternoon boat cruise.
The boat cruise is undertaken on the Kazinga channel. We will relax and enjoy the cool breeze as we view some of the wildlife up close on the banks of the channel. We will see elephants, crocodiles, antelopes, buffalo and crocodiles. The number of birds on the channel is staggering. This boat cruise lasts up to 2 hours. We will return to the lodge and enjoy a relaxing evening on our Uganda Wildlife safari.
Day 3: Transfer to Kampala.
Following breakfast, we will check out of the lodge and depart Queen Elizabeth national park for Kampala. We will have lunch at the Igongo cultural center before proceeding to Kampala. On arrival, the guide will drop you at your hotel, residence or airport. This will mark the end of your 3 Days Queen Elizabeth Uganda Safari.
