Detailed itinerary of the safari
Day 1: travel from Kampala to Kidepo valley national park
On the 1st day of 4 days Kidepo valley park safari you will be picked from your lodge as early as 6:30 am after breakfast by your safari, he will give you a short safari briefing and set off on a drive heading to Kidepo valley national park. On your way you will have a stopover for lunch and then proceed to the park, upon your arriver you will check into your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: early morning game drive and afternoon culture encounter
On the 2nd day of 4 days Kidepo valley park safari you will have early morning breakfast, meet your safari driver and head to the park for a morning game drive on which you will get great sights of many animals most especially early risers such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas and many more. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you will go for a cultural encounter in the Karamojong community, while in the Karamojong community you will enjoy various cultural practices and their unique way of life such as livestock rearing, circular houses built using stones and mud, cultural dances and drama and get an opportunity to interact with the community’s elders for a better insight in the Karamojong history. Then head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.
Day 3: nature walk and evening game drive
On the 3rd day of 4 days Kidepo valley park safari you will have early morning breakfast, meet your safari driver and head to the park for a nature walk safari, nature walk in Kidepo valley national park leads to Kanangorok hot springs and on your walk you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the landscape, animals such as Elephants, Rothschild’s giraffe, Burchell’s Zebra, Oribi, Klipspringer, Bohor Reedbuck and many birds such as little green bee-eater, Kori bustard, Pygmy falcon and Karamoja Apalis. After the walk you will head back to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you will return for an afternoon game drive of 2-3 hours, on this game drive you will enjoy sights of many animals living in the park as they graze in the savannah grasslands. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.
Day 4: transfer back to Kampala
On the 4th day of 4 days Kidepo valley park safari you will have early morning breakfast, checkout of your lodge and set off on a drive back to Kampala, on your way you will have a stopover for lunch and when you reach kampala you will be dropped either at the airport to catch your flight back home or at your preferred location.
