8 Days Uganda safari is an amazing mountain gorilla, chimpanzee and wildlife safari taking you on a visit to Lake Mburo national park, Bwindi impenetrable national park and Kibale forest national park as the main destination all found in western uganda. Lake Mburo national park is the only national park in Uganda situated close to the capital city of Uganda Kampala siting on n are of 371 square kilometers, this park is a home to biggest population of zebras and many other animals such as leopards, lions, hippo, crocodiles and many bird species recorded to be over 332 bird species.
Bwindi impenetrable national park is the most famous national park in Uganda because it offers amazing mountain gorilla trekking safaris and it is a home to the endangered mountain gorillas, Bwindi impenetrable national park is a home to over 600 mountain gorilla individuals, many mammal and bird species recorded to be over 346 bird species, 202 butterfly species and many more.
Queen Elizabeth national park is another popular destination in Uganda known for diverse specie of wildlife such as tree climbing lions in the Ishasha sector, antelopes, elephants, crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, water bucks, chimpanzees and over 600 bird species.
Kibale national park is a known primate capital hosting 13 species of primates with a high population of chimpanzees, other primates in this park include white and black colobus, olive monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, vervet monkey, among other. There is over 600 bird specie to be found and sighted in kibale forest national park

Detailed Itinerary of 8 days Uganda safari
Day 1: transfer Kampala to Lake Mburo National ark
On the 1st day of 8 days Uganda safari you will meet your safari guide who will give you a short safari briefing, and after breakfast you will checkout of your lodge and embark on a journey to lake Mburo national park, on your way you will have a stopover at the Mpambire drum makers center for drum making demonstrations and the equator landmark for pictures . when you arrive in the park, you will have lunch after cjeck ing in to your lodge and in the afternoon you will go for a game drive on which you will enjoy spotti g many animals such as zebras, leopards, antelopes, giraffes, warthogs and many more. Later you will return to your lodge for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
On the 2nd day of 8 days Uganda safari, you will have morning breakfast, checkout of your lodge and embark on your journey to southwestern Uganda via Mbarara town as you heading to Bwindi impenetrable national park. On your way you will have en-route lunch and when you arrive in the park, you will check into your lodge, have an evening of rest and in the evening, you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: Mountain Gorilla trekking & Community walk- Bwindi Impenetrable
On the 3rd day of the safari you will have early morning g breakfast and by 6:39 you will head to Bwindi impenetrable national park for mountain gorilla trekking, at the park’s headquarters you will be briefed about the experience and with your packed lunch you will head into the forests of Bwindi impenetrable national park tracking for mountain gorillas which takes about 2-6 hours depending on the movement of mountain gorillas . when you locate the gorillas, you are allocated only 1 hour to stay in their presence while watching them interact with each other and take pictures (with your flashlight off).
You will head back to your lodge after the trek and rest for a while and later you can go for an optional evening walk in the Batwa community where you will interact with these local people and learn more about the lifestyle. In the evening you will return to the lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth via the Ishasha sector
On the 4th day of 8 days Uganda safari you will have morning breakfast at your lodge, checkout and embark on a journey to queen Elizabeth national park via Ishasha sector the southern park on the park, the Ishasha sector habits tree climbing lions which you will encounter. Queen Elizabeth national park is a famous home to a variety of wildlife species such as tree climbing lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, waterbucks, antelopes and many more. You will arrive in the park in perfect time for lunch which you will have after checking into your lodge, then you will go for aa afternoon game drive on which you will spot many animals living in the park and birds such as herons, crested cranes, herons and many more. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 5: Game drive & a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel
On the 5 the day of 8 days Uganda safari you will have early morning breakfast at your lodge them head to the park for a morning g he drive, on the game drive you will be able to spot many morning risers such as lions, solitary buffaloes, kobs, elephants and many more. After the experience of 3-4 hours you will head back to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, you will return for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel.
Boat cruise on kazinga channel is an amazing experience offering breathtaking views of the endless a landscape of queen Elizabeth national park, many animals such as crocodiles, buffaloes, hippos, elephants and many birds such as malachite kingfishers, pink backed pelicans and many more. You will return to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 6: Morning game drive, and transfer to Kibale national park
On the 6th day of 8 days Uganda safari you will have morning breakfast at your lodge then head to the park for a morning game drive for watching animals like lions, elephants, leopards and many more. The game drive lasts for 2-4 hours and after you will head back to your lodge for lunch, then checkout and set on a journey to kibale forest national park where you will arrive in the evening. Upon your arrival you will check into your lodge and in the evening, you will have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 7: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi wetland walk
On the 7th day of 8 days Uganda safari you will have early morning breakfast at your lodge then head to kibale forest for chimpanzee tracking experience, before you head into the forests of Bwindi you will be briefed about how to behave will on this safari and then head into the forests in search for chimpanzees in company of an armed guide. On your walk through the forests you will enjoy sights of many forest creatures such as golden monkeys, grey checked Mangabeys, L’Hoests monkeys, bush babies, among others; you will also spot a number of birds. You find the chimpanzee you will have one amazing hour of watching these primates in their nature habitat.
After the trek you will head back to the park’s headquarters then your lodge for lunch, in the afternoon you will head for bigodi wetland walk on which you will enjoy views of bush pigs, otters, baboons, black and white colobus monkeys and many birds. In the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 8: Return to Kampala
On the 8th day of 8 days Uganda safari you will have morning breakfast at your lodge, checkout and set off on a journey back to Kampala via Mubende where you will have a stopover for lunch. Upon arriving in Kampala, you will be dropped off either at your lodge in Kampala or Entebbe international airport for your departure flight.
