Sezibwa Falls
Early in the morning, a guide will pick you from your hotel/residence for your safari. In order to avoid traffic, we need to leave as early as 6; 30am. We will drive along the Kampala-Jinja highway where we will enjoy the scenic views of the tea and sugar plantations. We will make a stop at the Sezibwa falls. The spectacular view of the falls is breathtaking. More to that, the falls are a cultural heritage site for the Baganda. Plenty of bird species and monkeys can be seen in the forest. After exploring the site, we will continue towards Mabira forest.
Zip lining and Nature walk
In Mabira forest, we will undertake a nature walk into the forest. Here, we will be able to see vervet monkeys and birds like the horn bill. The nature walk will take us to the starting point of our zip lining. Buckled up, we will zip lining high up in the trees, over the canopy of the forest. The ride is amazing. Lunch cruise on the Nile
On arrival in Jinja, we will head over to Nile River explorers where the boat cruise is launched. We will enjoy a mouthwatering lunch as we ride on the Nile. We will be able to see birds like Amalekite King Fisher, egret, Grey heron and many more. We will return to the shore and head for the source of the Nile.
Source of the Nile
After the boat cruise, we will drive to the source of the Nile. Here, we will take a boat to the very spot where the Nile departs from Lake Victoria. We will take a few photos before taking a boat cruise on Lake Victoria. We will see birds like cormorants, egrets, fish eagles, pelicans and monitor lizards.
