3 Days Uganda chimp tracking safari : Kibale chimp trekking tracking safari takes you on a tour to the remarkable Kibale national park found in western Uganda, Kibale national park is composed of tracts of tropical rainforest habiting a big population of chimpanzees recorded to be over 1,450 individuals. Chimpanzee tracking is the highlight of this safari, this experience offers an encounter with the chimpanzees in the forests of Kibale, on this safari you will also do a walk in Bigodi swamp which is a thrilling experience.

Detailed Itinerary of 3 days Uganda Chimp safari

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Kibale National Park

On the 1st day of 3 days Uganda chimp safari you will meet your safari driver after morning breakfast, checkout of your hotel and set off on a journey to Kibale national park, on your way you will enjoy spectacular views of scenic landscape, local people going on with their daily life and traditional homes. You will have a stopover in fortportal for lunch and then proceed to the park, when you arrive in the park you will check into your lodge m, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: Chimpanzees trekking in Kibale national park

On the 2nd day of 3 days chimp safari you will have early morning breakfast at your lodge, meet your safari driver and head to the park for chimpanzee tracking safari, this experience starts with briefing in which a game ranger takes you through the DOA and don’ts if this safari then head into the forests of Kibale tracking down chimpanzees. When you find chimpanzees you will spend one of in their natural habitat watching them swing from tree branches, feeding, play and take pictures long as your flashlight is off. After the experience you will head to your lodge for lunch a d in the afternoon you will go for a walk in Bigodi swamp sanctuary where you will spot many birds such as great blue turaco, shoe bill and many more. You will also spot primates such as colobus monkeys, after the experience you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: transfer back to Kampala

On the 3rd day of 3 days Uganda chimp tracking safari you will have morning breakfast at your leisure, checkout of your lodge and embark on your journey back to Kampala, on your way you will have a stopover for lunch and when you arrive in Kampala you will be dropped off at Entebbe international airport to catch your flight back home.
