Tourist types and status

Students, kids, residents, and non-residents are the four categories of visitors on a Kenya safari to Amboseli National Park, as described below.

Students

Visitors on a trip arranged for conservation and research reasons by a recognized educational institution (primary, secondary, tertiary, and university) are students. In order to be eligible for student fees, students must fall within the age range of 3 years to 23 years. Education institutions are obliged to write a letter to Kenya Wildlife Services telling the park of their trip in no less than two weeks in order to be eligible for student fees. This makes it possible for KWS to send out a permission for the tuition.

In order for Kenya Wildlife Services to approve student rates, the educational institution must notify KWS in writing of the trip at least two weeks before it takes place.

Note; Students going on a privately planned Kenya safari who visit the park are not eligible for student rates; instead, they must pay resident/citizen rates.

Children

Visitors under the age of 18 who are between the ages of 3 and 17 are considered children.

Citizens

Visitors who are nationals of Kenya or other East African nations, such as Uganda, Tanzania, South Sudan, Rwanda, or the Democratic Republic of the Congo, must provide valid national identification documents and passports in order to enter the country.

Residents

Foreign tourists who are employed and staying in Kenya are referred to as residents, and the Kenyan government may request proof of residency or a valid work visa from these visitors.

External parties

Non-resident visitors are foreigners who travel to Kenya but do not live or work there.

payment method

Cashless payment methods are utilized to pay for admission to the Amboseli National Park. These techniques consist of
