Bush lodge – Uganda safari accommodation
Right at the edge of Queen Elizabeth national park lays Bush Lodge. Surrounded by lush green vegetation, the lodge attracts interesting visitors like hippos and elephants. The laughter of a lone hyena can be heard from time to time during your Uganda wildlife safari.
This Eco-friendly lodge offers bandas and tents for accommodation. They are carefully designed to blend in the wilderness. All accommodation is privately designed to offer reclusive Uganda safari moments. The starlit sky, the sounds of the birds and the evening camp fire with a view of the Kazinga channel offer memorable Uganda safari memories.
Bush Lodge Accommodation
Bandas
The lodge is comprised of 12 en suite bandas carefully designed to fit into the natural environment. They are grass thatched and raised on wooden platforms with private viewing decks which offer amazing views of the channel. The bandas are furnished with beds, bed side table and a power outlet. The rooms are fitted with beds, mosquito nets and verandah furniture which offer a relaxing Uganda safari evening. They have a flushing toilet and a shower with hot and cold water 24/7. The evening starlight shower is an amazing Uganda wildlife safari experience. Birds are regular visitors to the bandas.’
Self-contained tents
The lodge also has self-contained tents. These are more privately placed around the camp. They offer privacy are perfect for families. Extra tents can be set up on the adjacent platform to accommodate more family members. These are grass thatched, fitted with beds and mosquito nets. The private verandas are fitted with furniture that allow you to relax and enjoy the views of the wild in privacy. It’s advisable to have your own means of transport to the tent since wild animals roam around the lodge at night. Walking to and from the main lounge at night or early morning isn’t advised
Non self-contained tents
Bush lodge has non self-contained tents. These tents are well furnished with beds and mosquito nets, a bedside table and a power outlet. They are grass thatched with a private terrace and a furniture for a relaxing evening. The non-self-contained tents share a communal toilet block with showers and flushing toilets.
Bush lodge-Restaurant & Bar
A large tent is set up and used as a dining area. Overlooking the Kazinga channel, the dining area offers amazing sunset views as you sip on your cold drink after a long day in the wild. Dinners are held around the campfire creating a cozy and romantic safari atmosphere. The lamps around the camp fire offer luxurious illumination on your stay at the Bush lodge. The lodge is famous for its mouthwatering 4 course dinners.
The bar is stocked with beverages, wines, spirits and beers. The staff is efficient and always on the ready to serve your every need. Morning calls are offered for those who would like to go for an early morning game drive.
