Fort Murchison lodge

Fort Murchison lodge  is a budget safari lodge located in Murchison falls national park. Built at the edge of the park, you get to pay entry fees into the park if you wish to explore more wildlife in the park. Designed with a touch of Swahili culture, the earth colored tower welcomes you on arrival during your Uganda wildlife safari.

Fort Murchison has an amazing staff dedicated to offering you a remarkable time during your stay. The lodge has a swimming pool to dip in during the hot afternoons and an attendant is always at the ready would you need a drink or towel. The lodge is well known for its extensive mouthwatering meals, freshly made by the experienced chefs. The lounge has a rooftop terrace that offers amazing views of the Albert Nile and unforgettable sunsets.

Rooms.

Perfectly designed around the compound, the lodge has en-suite rooms. The rooms are equipped with double and twins beds. On request, a third bed can be arranged for families. They rooms have comfortable beds with mosquito nets, a flushing toilet and a shower with hot and cold water. All rooms have a private balcony with comfortable furniture that allows you to relax and enjoy the views of the Nile on your Uganda wildlife safari.

Safari Tents

Fort Murchison also offers non self-contained safari tents. They are grass thatched with a private verandah with comfortable safari chairs. They are furnished with 2 single beds, mosquito nets, power outlets and a bedside table. Bedding are provided. These safari tents share toilet blocks that are located around the grounds.

Fort Murchison prepares breakfasts as early as 5:30 am for those who would like to do a morning game drive. Wi-Fi is available in the main lounge, giving you a chance to share you Uganda safari moments with your loved ones.
